Escape Artists rescuing you from sticky situations

Development Team

Danielle Morrill is our super organized, web, marketing, and biz dev guru from Twilio. When she’s not wearing all these different hats and styling our website, she enjoys handing out Twilio stickers & awesome geek girl T-shirts, iPhone photography, and occasionally using our service to escape from her husband.
Kevin Morrill is an engineer and program manager in the real world. He’s part of our development team and is responsible for making the magic happen with your rescue calls. He’s also Danielle’s husband and only uses our service with his other friends.

Arun is our mysterious API and database guru, without his expertise who knows who would get called when you send a cry for help. In his spare time, he travels the world collecting shot glasses from Hard Rock Hotels, practices with his garage band, and he loves long walks on the beach.

Carl Tanner is a Ruby on Rails and database stuff master. He’s a U2 groupie and has gotten kicked out of their concerts a few times for sneaking backstage, he also carries two phones because he’s cool like that.

Gen LaPointe is our GIS and location dominatrix, without her we wouldn’t be able to pinpoint our recent escapees. When she’s not at EscapeMyDate headquarters, this superwoman is juggling two kids under the age of 2 while running her own GIS consulting company on the side.

Marketing Team
Cheryl Marquez is our product manager, working frantically with WenWen to create wireframes for the development team and writing up marketing requirements. She is available during the day for other product management opportunities.

Wen-wen Lam is a co-founder of Women 2.0, serial startup junkie, and marketing whiz. She loves technology, running, Celebrity Gossip, and LA.

Marisa Porzig is a recent marketing and strategy MBA grad and is looking to find an awesome day job as a brand marketing manager. She is a technology, hiking, and news junkie. She secretly loves to record podcasts under her alter ego and enjoys a huge following.

Chris Stewart is our viral marketing ace doing focus groups, branding, brainstorming on business development. When he’s not blogging or tweeting about EscapeMyDate.com, he goes to school and is looking for a marketing day job. He is also running his own business to help people create their own hire me t-shirts.
